Nominations announced for Maritime Media Awards 2026

The Maritime Foundation is delighted to announce the nomination list for this year’s Maritime Media Awards, which are taking place on Tuesday, 10 November at the Royal Thames Yacht Club in London.

The Maritime Media Awards have been recognising public understanding of maritime issues and the UK’s dependence upon the sea for over 30 years, celebrating the UK’s best maritime journalists, authors, filmmakers, digital creators and others.

Maritime Foundation Chair, Richard Clayton said:

The Maritime Media Awards continue to highlight the UK’s best journalists, authors, filmmakers, digital creators and others who have excelled in creating greater public understanding of the maritime environment.

I am positively encouraged by this year’s nominees, and our judges are working hard to select the best in each category. The Maritime Foundation is looking forward to celebrating this year’s winners.

Finalists will be announced in October and winners will be announced live at the Maritime Media Awards Ceremony at Royal Thames Yacht Club on Tuesday, 10 November 2026. Tickets are on sale shortly.
