The Maritime Foundation has announced the decision to postpone the Maritime Media Awards Dinner which was due to take place on Thursday, 28 October 2021.
The 2021 winners will be revealed in a pre-recorded online broadcast at 19:00 next Thursday on the Foundation’s YouTube Channel.
Richard Clayton, Chairman of the Awards Committee, said: “Unfortunately, due to a number of understandable cancellations and anxieties surrounding the recent rise in COVID-19 infection rates, the Awards Committee has made the difficult decision to postpone the event until March 2022. This was not an easy decision to make but one that was felt to be in the best interests of all concerned.”
Maritime 2021 will be published and freely available to read online. Printed copies can be ordered for the cost of postage and packaging.
The rescheduled date for the event at Drapers’ Hall will be announced shortly and all tickets will remain valid for those who wish to attend, otherwise, refunds will be available upon request.
