The Maritime Foundation announced on Monday that the 26th annual Maritime Media Awards will return to London’s prestigious Drapers’ Hall.
The Awards Reception and Dinner will take place in the newly refurbished Livery Hall on Thursday, 28 October 2021 and after the success of last year’s virtual awards, for the first time winners will be announced ahead of the night via the Foundation’s YouTube Channel in an exclusive presentation produced by our in-house Maritime Films UK team.
Richard Clayton, Chairman of the Awards Committee, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming guests once again to celebrate and bring together all sectors of the maritime industries to reward those in the media who excel at raising awareness and focussing on the issues of today and tomorrow.”
The Reception starts at 6:00 pm followed by a 3-course dinner before the presentations and is set to be a wonderful and safe opportunity to celebrate maritime journalism, literature, digital innovation, and filmmaking with presentations to both last year’s and this year’s winners. Special guests are set to include the First Sea Lord and other prominent members of the maritime community.
The cost of the evening is £115 per person and places can be reserved online. An early-bird discount rate of £112.50 per place is available for a limited time, and corporate tables and sponsorship opportunities are also available. Book your place now
