Maritime Media Awards 2025

The 29th Annual Awards Ceremony celebrated the UK's best maritime journalists, authors, filmmakers, digital creators and others

The 29th Annual Maritime Media Awards

The Maritime Foundation announced the 2025 winners of the Maritime Media Awards at its annual Maritime Media Awards Ceremony at Six Park Place in London on 20 November, recognising the UK’s best journalists, authors, filmmakers, digital creators and others whose work in the media had created a greater public understanding of maritime issues, and of the United Kingdom’s dependence upon the sea.

Hosted by Maritime Foundation Chair, Richard Clayton, the ceremony included a presentation from the Royal Navy of the Desmond Wettern Fleet Award and a keynote speech from Blue Ocean Marine Tech Systems Managing Director, James King, on the technological advances in underwater autonomous drones.

A night of celebration, inspiration, and recognition
