The Maritime Foundation’s team of committed volunteers all aim to continue the Foundation’s 40+ years of championing maritime and generating awareness of current and future maritime issues.
Our President
Rhett Hatcher leads the Foundation in championing the vital role maritime plays in the prosperity, security, and sustainability of our island nation. A former Royal Navy Rear Admiral and UK National Hydrographer, Rhett brings extensive experience in strategy, operations and defence engagement, as well as a strong understanding of the wider maritime sector through his role as Chief Executive of the UK Chamber of Shipping.
Board of Trustees and Executive Committee
The Foundation is governed by a Trustee Body and an Executive Committee, which is responsible for the leadership and strategy of the organisation and for the overall day-to-day running of the Maritime Foundation.
